This programme helps young people between the ages of 16-25 to gain access to existing internship, graduate and employment opportunities available with partner corporations or government stakeholders.

The goal of the program is:

  • To assist young people, aged 16-25, from disadvantaged backgrounds, to gain access to skills training that will take them a step closer to employment
  • To access the various internship, graduate and employment programmes available with partner corporations or government stakeholders
  • Participate in exclusive partner and global networking events

Recently, through our partnership with The Knowledge Channel and Bank of America, iROCK! UK facilitated a workshop at the Bank of America, Canary Wharf head office, attracting about 70 young people from across London.

The speakers conducted CV clinics - which also looked at employability skills - and discussed diversity and equality issues and roles in the banking sector.

Tim Campbell, winner of the television programme, ‘The Apprentice’, was a guest speaker and he conducted live interviews for eight of the young people present. Three of the other guests looked at the challenges facing young people and the programmes and facilities available to overcome them.
